Joe’s spirit and determination remain strong, but the cost of uninsured treatment and recovery-based therapies is staggering. Between car modifications, home living adjustments, uninsured medical equipment, and medical treatment expenses, Joe and his family have incurred over $25,000 of injury-related costs. Additionally, the highly effective recovery program (Project Walk) that Joe attends multiple times a week adds a recurring monthly expense of about $3,000.
A fundraising campaign has been established with the Catastrophic Injury Program of the National Transplant Assistance Fund (NTAF) for Joe’s uninsured injury-related expenses. NTAF is a highly regarded nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization which has been providing fundraising support for over 20 years. All contributions are administered by NTAF exclusively for injury-related expenses and donations are tax-deductible.
All donations made to NTAF may also fall under your company matching donation policy. Please be sure to let them know about your contribution.
To make a donation, please make checks payable to:

It’s never easy to ask for help and now is certainly no exception. At a time like this, the assistance of family, friends and the community is crucial to help ensure a positive outcome. Your continued love, support, and prayers will empower Joe in his challenging journey towards recovery.
